Overview<\/h2>\n  <p>At AlfaTec we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn&#8217;t right, we will do our best to resolve it fairly and promptly. This policy governs all returns, refunds, and exchanges for purchases made through alfatec.co.za and is aligned with the <strong>Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA)<\/strong> of South Africa.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>2. Return &amp; Refund Eligibility<\/h2>\n  <p>To qualify for a return and refund, the following conditions must all be met:<\/p>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Your request is submitted within <strong>7 calendar days<\/strong> of receiving your order.<\/li>\n    <li>The item is unused, unactivated, and unregistered.<\/li>\n    <li>All original packaging, accessories, manuals, cables, and tags are included and intact.<\/li>\n    <li>You can provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email or tax invoice).<\/li>\n    <li>The item shows no physical damage, scratches, or signs of misuse caused after delivery.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <div class=\"at-notice\">\n    <strong>Please note:<\/strong> Returns submitted after 7 days, or items that do not meet the above conditions, will not be accepted and may be returned to you at your own shipping cost.\n  <\/div>\n\n  <h2>3. Exchange Policy<\/h2>\n  <p>We are happy to exchange an item for the same product in a different colour or storage configuration, subject to stock availability, within <strong>7 calendar days<\/strong> of delivery. The item must meet the same eligibility conditions listed in Section 2.<\/p>\n  <p>If you would like to exchange for a completely different product, we recommend initiating a return for a refund (see Section 5) and placing a new order separately &mdash; this is the fastest way to get you the right product.<\/p>\n  <p>To request an exchange, follow the process in Section 4 below and indicate &#8220;Exchange&#8221; as the reason.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>4. How to Request a Return or Exchange<\/h2>\n  <ol>\n    <li>Contact us within 7 days of delivery via email at <a href=\"mailto:Returns@alfatec.co.za\">Returns@alfatec.co.za<\/a> or by phone at <a href=\"tel:+27645489382\">064 548 9382<\/a>.<\/li>\n    <li>Provide your order number, the name of the item, and the reason for the return or exchange request.<\/li>\n    <li>Our team will review your request and issue a <strong>Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number<\/strong> within 2 business days if your request is approved.<\/li>\n    <li>Pack the item securely in its original packaging and write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the parcel.<\/li>\n    <li>Ship the item to the address we provide in your RMA confirmation.<\/li>\n    <li>Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the outcome and process your refund or exchange within 3&ndash;5 business days.<\/li>\n  <\/ol>\n  <div class=\"at-notice\">\n    <strong>Important:<\/strong> Items sent back without a valid RMA number will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.\n  <\/div>\n\n  <h2>5. Refund Processing<\/h2>\n  <p>Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming whether your refund has been approved or declined.<\/p>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Approved refunds are issued to your <strong>original payment method<\/strong>.<\/li>\n    <li>Please allow <strong>5&ndash;10 business days<\/strong> for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or card provider.<\/li>\n    <li>Original delivery\/shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the return is a result of our error or a confirmed product defect.<\/li>\n    <li>If your purchase was financed through <strong>Challenor Finance<\/strong>, your refund will be coordinated directly with them and may take additional processing time.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n\n  <h2>6. Damaged or Defective Items<\/h2>\n  <p>If your order arrives damaged in transit or you discover a manufacturing defect, please contact us <strong>within 24 hours of delivery<\/strong>. Include the following in your message:<\/p>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Clear photographs of the damaged or defective item and the outer packaging.<\/li>\n    <li>Your order number and a brief description of the issue.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <p>We will arrange a repair, replacement, or full refund at <strong>no cost to you<\/strong>, including return shipping. This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act and any applicable manufacturer warranty.<\/p>\n  <div class=\"at-notice\">\n    <strong>Warranty Claims:<\/strong> Defects that arise after the initial 7-day window fall under the manufacturer warranty. Please refer to the warranty documentation included with your product. AlfaTec will assist you in facilitating the claim where possible.\n  <\/div>\n\n  <h2>7. Non-Returnable Items<\/h2>\n  <p>The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or damaged on arrival:<\/p>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Opened software, digital downloads, and product licence keys.<\/li>\n    <li>Consumable items (batteries, cleaning accessories, etc.) once opened or used.<\/li>\n    <li>Items that have been customised or specially ordered at your request.<\/li>\n    <li>Broken Seal Products (see Section 8 below).<\/li>\n    <li>Gift cards and store vouchers.<\/li>\n    <li>Items clearly marked as &#8220;Final Sale&#8221; or &#8220;Clearance&#8221; at the time of purchase.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n\n  <h2>8. Broken Seal Products<\/h2>\n  <p>AlfaTec offers a range of <strong>Broken Seal Products<\/strong> &mdash; items where the original manufacturer seal has been opened, but the product itself is unused. These items are clearly identified on the product listing and are offered at a discounted price to reflect their condition.<\/p>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Broken Seal Products are <strong>not eligible for return or exchange<\/strong> unless they arrive damaged or are confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.<\/li>\n    <li>They carry the manufacturer&#8217;s standard warranty where applicable.<\/li>\n    <li>Purchasing a Broken Seal Product confirms you have read and accepted the product condition as described at the time of purchase.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n\n  <h2>9. Return Shipping<\/h2>\n  <p>Unless a return is the result of our error or a confirmed defect, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service, as AlfaTec cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.<\/p>\n  <p>AlfaTec will cover all return shipping costs in the following cases:<\/p>\n  <ul>\n    <li>Items that arrived damaged.<\/li>\n    <li>Items confirmed defective within the warranty period.<\/li>\n    <li>Incorrect items dispatched due to our error.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <p>For large items such as fridges, washing machines, or other appliances, we will arrange and cover the cost of collection for all qualifying defective returns.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>10.
